The chiefs and people of Gomoa Oguan in the Gomoa West District, who broke away from Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council for more than 90 years ago have reunited with their roots.
The reconciliation was brokered by Obrifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobea II, Omanhen of the Traditional Area and Mr Theophilus Aidoo-Mensah, District Chief Executive (DCE).

The Brong Ahafo Regional Police Commander, DCOP Seth Charles Oteng has assured residents of Tuobodom where a chieftaincy dispute left three dead and others injured at the weekend, of enforced security for life and property.
Many of the townsfolk fled the town to nearby villages during the fatal clashes and are now making a slow return, according to the police chief, who said on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem programme on Tuesday that residents should feel safe to return because security agents are manning the town.

Tuobodom (B/A), March, 8 GNA - A contingent of 92 military and police personnel have moved in to halt sporadic shootings and maintain peace and order at Tuobodom in Techiman Municipality of the Brong-Ahafo Region.
Three persons are confirmed dead whilst unconfirmed reports put the death toll at eight in the bloody clash that erupted last Friday night between supporters of the two traditional factions in the area.
